Diversified Spinal Manipulation

Our Chiropractors offer a combination of the most effective techniques of joint manipluation. Diversifed technique involves the use of comfortable and safe, low amplitude thrust to adjust the spine or extremities. Correction of joint dysfunction has been shown to increase joint range of motion and decreased pain.

Thompson Manipulation

This is a specific chiropractic method that uses a specific "drop" method. A gental thrust is applied to the spine or pelvis, which in turn, sets the drop peice into motion and provides another means of safe, effective joint manipulation.

Spinal Decompression

Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression is achieved through the use of a mechanical traction table equipped with an onboard computer to control the force and angle of disc distraction. This reduces the body's natural propensity to resist external force and results in more effective traction.

Flexion Distraction

Flexion-Distraction decompresses the disc by applying a gentle stretch or traction to the lower spine. The doctor applies manual contact to the spine while the Leander table assists with concurrent trunk flexion. This traction and mobilization is performed in a series of repetitive slow movements without quick movements or thrusts. The procedure is often used for people with disc problems, but can also be used in other ways to gently stretch and mobilize the spine and pelvis.

Myofascial Release

This technique is often utilized when addressing scar tissue or adhesions within the connective tissue. These adhesions compromise the fluid movements of muscles and joints, resulting in a wide variety of symptoms including pain and reduced mobility. Treatments consist of applying specific manual pressure over scar tissue while he paitent moves. This results in the release of chronic myofasical adhesions.
